The Storm Shield.

How's the weather over there? It's been a very hot season here until the rain decided to fall today and I am loving the weather right now. Since it is raining here, I got inspired by the rain because I was outside without an umbrella when it started but was helped by a good jolly fellow who shared her umbrella with me and then I thought, we all need an umbrella during the rain. However, the umbrella can be also figurative, which means we need people to run to during the hard days or storms in our lives. Which is why I will be sharing this song today. Umbrella - Rihanna ft jayz The umbrella can represent protection and loyalty during tough days. Do you have a figurative umbrella in your life? When it gets tough right now whom will you turn to? Can you be an umbrella for someone too? Empathy and compassion can be the driving force to being available for someone who is in dire need in turbulent times. Remembering, that the table can turn too will help us to stay humble while shari

There's No Place Like Home.

One Friday morning a few years ago, I visited one of my uncles, who was very affluent; it's been a while since I saw him, with the plan to go back home that same day; however, his wife wanted me to spend more days with them, maybe because she loved my aura and how I always lend a hand with house chores and other errands when I visited. "Do I call your mom to tell her you will be spending a few weeks more with us?" Aunty Tolani politely asked, and I felt that since they were affluent and had almost everything I needed to stay comfortable, it wouldn't be a bad idea. "Yes, ma'am, but I didn't carry enough clothes since I didn't plan on staying long initially," I added. "Oh, don't worry about that; I'll take you to the nearest shopping mall; you'll pick any outfit of your choice, shoes, and bags; you like that?" She smiled and patted my shoulder. In excitement, I ran off to hug her and say, "Yes, ma," I like that,"

Everything Must Meet Their End.

Image
Eventually, all things must meet their end. From dusk till dawn, they bloom until that fateful day. They bend, fall and die. There's no beginning without an end, Take heart in knowing that the troubles you face will eventually come to an end someday. Even the life we live is not promised and will come to an end, Make each day count while you are still alive, Bloom and thrive. Find solace and tranquillity and do the things that bring you the most happiness.. Because the once vibrant you will soon be fragile and softly we will surrender to Mother Earth. Just like a beautiful leave adorned in all its glory, Eventually falls and withers.. So all things will eventually come to their fateful end.. Just Dance!

Yeah, it's the weekend and I decided to just live in the moment and  just dance! How do you manage your feelings when you are worked up? For me, I do good music which helps to ease my nerves but some days, even good music might not be able to calm one's nerves especially when one is tense. Something happened today that taught me to always live in the moment and keep my worries at bay. Most times we worry too much about the future even when we know we do not have control over it. Expecting too much can make the heart sick, which is why it is important to take a day as it comes. I have learned that time and chances overtake us all, October was a hell of a month filled with so many hectic activities that at a point I started to feel burned out, and I began to feel anxious as to what the outcome of those activities would be like. Thankfully, it ended in praise. Today, I began to feel anxious again, I have so many deadlines to meet, so many things are left pending and I am wondering
