Just Dance!
Yeah, it's the weekend and I decided to just live in the moment and just dance!
How do you manage your feelings when you are worked up?
For me, I do good music which helps to ease my nerves but some days, even good music might not be able to calm one's nerves especially when one is tense.
Something happened today that taught me to always live in the moment and keep my worries at bay.
Most times we worry too much about the future even when we know we do not have control over it.
Expecting too much can make the heart sick, which is why it is important to take a day as it comes.
I have learned that time and chances overtake us all, October was a hell of a month filled with so many hectic activities that at a point I started to feel burned out, and I began to feel anxious as to what the outcome of those activities would be like.
Thankfully, it ended in praise.
Today, I began to feel anxious again, I have so many deadlines to meet, so many things are left pending and I am wondering how I will be able to meet up, knowing fully well that multi-tasking has made me so sick the past few weeks, "Breathe.." My head kept reminding me and then as soon as I turned on my stereo it was this particular song playing on my favorite radio station. Oh, what a sweet coincidence".

Before now, I've never taken my time to pay attention to the lyrics so deeply as I did today, I only dance to the beat and shake off my worries but today, it hit differently...
Just dance!!!! Gonna be okay.
The lyrics started to make more sense simply because it was what I needed to hear at that moment.
There's no need to worry over what I really cannot control, breathe and live in the moment.
One simple hack to keeping my problem at bay is this phrase. "This too shall pass.."
I began to truly shake off the weight on my shoulders, I started to dance. Just dance and let my worries be for a while.
Dancing helped my mind to be rejuvenated, and I felt lighter than I did before dancing.
So I felt just like me, many people feel overwhelmed by certain situations they have no control over.
"Would you just dance too?" Just take a moment to breathe and let it out for a while, pick a song dance your heart out and feel lighter than before...
It's very important to take one day at a time for this life is meant to be lived to the fullest.
Worrying wouldn't add a cubit to our life span, and wouldn't even help solve a problem. So dance it away and take each day as it comes.
