Room 101

"Who's there?" Tonia was startled as she began to notice the creak of footsteps behind her. "Becky? Is that you?" She called out to Becky, her twin, who dared to visit a particular haunted house about thirty minutes ago on a trip to the fair. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft, silver glow over everything in sight as Tonia, who seemed to be a very adorable lady with long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail in her mid-twenties, made her way to the old abandoned, dilapidated house a few meters away in search of Becky. As she got closer, the pace of the footsteps intensified, causing her to jerk for a minute. Determined to look for her twin, she slowly pulled open the unlocked door with a rusty door handle. "Becky," she called out in fear as she began to hear the echoes of her voice. She stood still to observe the house when she saw bloody handwriting on the glass window. "Welcome to my world. Elena.

I am Elena, and I met Greg during my National Youth Service Corps in Abuja. He was a dark-skinned dude who was adored by his dark and shiny beard and his teutonic-tinted gold hair. I had just ended my relationship with Marcus, the narcissistic monster who almost made me insane. Thank God I dared to leave after so much manipulation by him. A year later, Zee introduced the love of her life to me, and a few months ago, he popped the big question. I was seated in my living room munching on my cookies while doing Netflix and chilling when a message popped in. "We have a wedding to plan." It was from Zee, and I only remember jumping from one couch to another to express my excitement as I reached for my phone to congratulate her on the happy news. "Yeah, I am so happy for you, Zee; don't worry, I ensure your wedding day goes almost flawlessly." We ended the call in a very exciting mode, and then I thought of doing something extra for Zee; "she deserves more than just a regular wedding, and she loves surprises too, so what shall I do?" I soliloquized. The next day at work, I stylishly copied some of her friend's
