Life Is Such A Great Teacher.

It's amazing how life is such a great teacher, someone asked me what life lesson I've learned so far.  I paused and reflected on what life has taught me.

Let's talk about Life Lessons.

Here are a few lessons I've learned in life.

Be Mentally Ready

Hehe, I will be so dumb to forget this important lesson life has taught me. I've come to realize that life is full of sudden goodbyes, and so one must be mentally ready for anything life throws at you.

It's terrifying how people who mean the world to us can just get up and walk out of our lives without notice and leave us in the middle of nowhere, leaving us bruised and crushed, or we might just lose a loved one in death, and shit happens because things don't often go as planned. It is Life after all.

We need to be mentally ready for whatever because, at the end of the day, nobody will heal us, so we must carry on living because life wouldn't pause for us to be okay and go along, so we must be mentally strong to heal and move on.

Don't ignore that call/text no matter how pissed you are.

I learned a really hard lesson during my teen years, and I will never forget it.

A next-door neighbor ignored his wife's call because he was mad at her that morning, not knowing that she was calling him to bring her her inhaler. She was asthmatic, and she forgot the inhaler in his car the night before the quarrel. When he saw her call, he switched off his phone, and when he turned on his phone, a message popped up.

He couldn't forgive himself when he saw her text message later that day on his phone, but it was too late.

Most times when we are angry, we let it get the better of our emotions, forgetting that anger is not just a few minutes of madness; the effect is life-lasting.

In our hearts, we truly care about the other person, but we want them to feel how hurt they made us feel, so sometimes we neglect to care for them when we are angry, but it's not the best way. So much damage can be done and can leave us guilty for the rest of our lives.

Life is a paradox

Tables actually turn around in life and that's the beauty of life, someone who is at their lowest today can regain their power tomorrow, so nothing lasts forever; everything ends, from the good to the bad, horrible moments, beautiful moments, bliss or downfall even life, everything end and it's really sad, because if it's in our power everybody would hold on to the best moment in their lives, but life shows up and reminds us that it is unpredictable, which is why we should love every day like it's our last, we should show kindness our every phase our lives because table actually turns!

And...

Comfort zone will hinder your growth.

This is the most recent lesson I've learned in life.

Facing our fears and stepping out of our comfort zone is often rewarding.

Comfort zones come in different forms, let's simply say it means not wanting to try something new for fear of making mistakes, failing, or fear of the unknown, we are often too scared to start all over, pour so much into something new and so must times we decide to remain where we are, where things are easy and do not need much effort, risk, and energy.

But I realized this lesson the moment I became fearless in the pursuit of what set my soul on fire, the first step was me being determined to try something new I've always loved to do but was too scared to try.

Nobody is born an expert and so consistency is what transforms average into excellent, the willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn after all, mistakes are made for moving on and no matter what happens along our way, we have the power to get to where we are meant to be.

No experience is wasted, while we are giving whatever a shot, we might fail, we should take the experience from whatever situation and learn from it.

Most of us aren't where we want to be not because we cannot do it, but because we are too scared to try. But the earlier we realize that there are endless possibilities in this life so long as we do not limit ourselves, the better for us.

We've got just one life, so we should be running like we are on fire chasing our dreams, no matter how tough it may seem at first.

So can I ask you, what are you scared of? You gotta look your fear in the eyes and say "I am a conqueror." and get to work because you are capable of achieving whatever you set your heart to.
