Growing up as a child I have always thought that everyone living abroad had a better life than the ones living in my country. After all "the grass is always greener on the other side," I soliloquized. Folake was my childhood friend with whom we shared dreams and goals, we kept talking about the good life we would get to experience once we finally saved up enough money to take us out of the country for good all of this happened while we were both in high school. First, she changed her name after falling in love with the love of her life.. Then she became naive immediately when she found out she had a bump.. Someone asked me, "what causes you visual stress?" it didn't take me a while to figure out what causes me visual stress, simply because I consider "clutter," as anything untidy and unpleasant to look at, something that makes me uncomfortable and cringe. You see those people who after drinking a sachet of water or eating a biscuit and then throw the wrapper anywhere, ha! Nothing stresses me visually more than that ugly sight, I learned to be tidy right from childhood from my parent when I am in public and I can't find a proper place to dispose of any wrapper of water, biscuits or anything in my possession, I just fold it properly and keep it in a compartment in my bag until I get home. Many people are unbothered by that, as it's just normal for them to dispose of trash anywhere they like or those who urinate anywhere they like, Gosh!! It's such an eyesore to me. This week which is just concluding is the international nurses week and I have about three nurses in my life. Each of them has played a very significant role in my life from caregiving to their self-sacrificing spirit towards me and humanity in general. At the start of the week, I ensured to send them heartwarming messages to acknowledge their zeal for the profession and that left them with a smile. Nurse Comfort As we chatted, I began to ask them a series of questions as to how they are faring, The truth is most of them complained about being underpaid, in my country the nurses and teachers are doing great jobs towards humanity but sadly they are less paid professionals, this could demoralize their zeal as people are motivated when they feel appreciated. Rivalry among siblings is something very common as no home is perfect, they could have a minor misunderstanding or a major one. There are so many reasons why siblings fight against each other and from observation I think some of the reasons could be; When a parent loves one child more than the rest, this is not a good way of parenting because such an act can foster hatred and jealousy among siblings. I believe that no two children even though born of the same mother act alike, and sometimes a parent might love the quality of one over the others which is why they show that one so much attention over the rest but it's surely not the right way to go, each child should be shown love accordingly and equally which is why a parent should avoid comparing each sibling. Another reason could be of petty concern.
