Life is truly uncertain, Jade showed me a picture of this little fox who looked betrayed and abandoned,it laid quietly on a pumpkin, and the room looked so unkempt.
"Why do you think it's looking sad?" Jade asked me and then I thought, "it trusted too much," I replied almost immediately because I could see the hand writing all over its face. "Who did it trust?" She further asked, maybe someone very close, someone it loved so much.
Most times, we are often let down by people we love and adore so much and then we begin to wonder how and where did we go wrong? We try so hard to find closure but the only thing left with us are often fragments of our imagination of what the problem might be.
It's often the people we feel safe around that hurt us the most and often the ones we are vulnerable to that takes advantage of us simply because we've given them so much power over us.
I see a fox that has chosen to find solace in an empty and unkempt room, exactly where it was abandoned. The despair in the little fox's eyes is glaring, a feeling of isolation and dejection.
Although I'm sure the fox will adapt to its new situation, but it would have a bearing on how it behaves henceforth, it would be so defensive and ready to fight for survival.
This is similar to human trait, our experience in life often shape our interactions with others and our personality, there is actually "no smoke without fire". Most people who have been broken in the past always build a wall around them and they find it had to let down their guard once again for fear of getting hurt and when other people meet them, they get judged by their personality.
The victims usually train themselves to be non-chalant and that often hinder them from meeting genuine people, Life is just a ride, a tough one at that, we must learn to always go with the flow and also remember that nothing is promised in this life and just like seasons, people changes, embrace change when it comes unexpectedly, and when there's a situation you have no control over, seek peace in knowing you did your best to make it work, and when you're done hurting, pick yourself up and move ahead, for life goes on!
