In The End, Love Will Save The Day.

Love is beautiful yet love is pain,
Pain for when we lose the ones we love,
We lose ourselves too,
And so we detach ourselves from everything we once loved.

Detachment in turn protects us from pain,
However, it restricts us from falling in love genuinely once again.
And deprives us of understanding how love works..

Loving is harder than we see in the movies,
Loving requires effort.
Loving is taking a chance on someone..
It might be sweet and it might tear you apart..

But choosing to love is the best feeling ever regardless..
It gives you some sense of belonging..
It makes you powerful.
It makes you the better version of yourself.
And pushes you beyond your limit..

Love helps you understand how the world works.
That beautiful things exist,
Simple gestures can make you smile,
That can beautiful things happen in the strangest place,
And with the one whom you never envisaged it would be with..

It was on the 28th of October, 2022 at exactly 12:30 am, Debbie woke up that midnight feeling unhappy.  Source It was her 28th birthday, and unlike other birthdays this one was different, she felt like a loser simply because she felt she wasn't doing enough and today is another reminder that she was getting older, most of her mates were married with kids, and others work in a very big firm and living the lives of their dreams.
