Unlock Your Passport To Endless Possibilities.

One essential item everyone should have in their possession is the international passport.

This is because the international passport serves as a wing to fly around the world and truly explore.

Having an international passport opens many doors of opportunities either to school abroad, go on vacation, receive international medical treatment, work abroad, explore diverse cultures or even migrate to another country as a permanent resident.

In my country, having an international passport comes with little hassles as one needs to go through an authentic agent and finding such an agent is usually very difficult.

Although the Immigration Service in my country has an official portal where one can make the registration online and process it from start to finish, this is even the most difficult ordeal ever as most times you might have to face network issues and other registration mishaps.

If I were to advice anyone who has a plan to acquire an international passport I would advice such a person to go through a tested and trusted agent.

It takes about six to eight weeks to process a fresh passport if you go through an agent that's well-known and connected, however, if you go through some kind of agent that does not know their onions it may take about 3-5 months to get it all processed.

If you are to renew your previous passport, it takes about 3-5 weeks to get it all done.

All you need is to fill out a form called the e-passport Application Form where you will be asked for your full name, date of birth, state of origin, height, eye colour, next of kin, home address, phone number, National identity number and attach your date of birth certificate and local government certificate of indigeneship, then you'll be asked to fill in the duration of your passport, 32-page passports with five-year validity or 64-page passports with a 10-year validity as payment varies,( this applies to both fresh applicants and those who want to renew their passport.)

The next step is to make payment for the passport to be processed, after your payment has been verified you will be given an appointment slip for capturing, the essence of capturing is to capture your face and then take your biometrics as a means of identity.

Once this is done, you will have to wait for 6weeks for it to be processed or months just as I explained earlier.

While waiting, you can check your application status on their portal to know the level which your passport has reached and to ensure the passport is a genuine one, all you need is your application ID and your application reference ID.

Note that if you are using the online portal it is quite cheaper than when using an agent, but using an agent can help you apply for the express passport, express passport means paying extra money to get it processed and ready within a week or two in case the trip or purpose of having it is very urgent.

Once you have a passport, you are now on eagle wings because you are closer to exploring the world, a friend of mine told me how she lost an opportunity to work abroad because she didn't have an international passport when the opportunity came she had no time to start applying and so she lost the opportunity, so it's a very good idea to have it in your possession even though you do not have plans to leave your country at the moment.

Currently, the Nigerian passport is ranked the 95th world's most powerful passport and has access to a lot of countries and you know what? Having your Nigerian passport opens the door for you to explore many African countries with a perk of a Visa on arrival, while you also have access to sixty-two countries without a visa, just your passport is a ticket to be there.
